17 ( +1 | -1 ) Here are 2 books you need1.My 60 Memorable Games,by Fischer himself. 2.Fischer:His Approach to Chess,by Elie Agur. As for the '72 match,there are various books on it by Gligoric,Reshevsky,Byrne, and Kramer.

22 ( +1 | -1 ) I'm not sureif this book is still in print, but FISCHER - SPASSKY MOVE BY MOVE by Larry Evans and Ken Smith has a picture and annotation for every single move of the 21 game 1972 match. Good bedtime reading!

47 ( +1 | -1 ) unknown bobby fischerI just got this book and it's interesting for Fischer fanatics because it goes over the few games from his early career from a boy in New York City. The annotations are mostly by Donaldson. Don't buy it if you're interested in a volume of opening variations. Buy it if you want to know how Fischer ticks. For example in his first U.S. Open in 1955 at Lake Mohegan, upstate New York, Bobby "lost his nerve" and had to be persuaded to play by Carmine Nigro. Sound familiar?? He was only twelve at the time.

20 ( +1 | -1 ) There is a bookand I can't find it right now, called 60 or 100 "outrageous" moves. It is terrific. It focuses on key moves in games, allows you to try to figure it out yourself, and rates them 1 to 5 in difficulty. Also has the complete game. If I find it I'll get back to you.

30 ( +1 | -1 ) giboI found it! It's Bobby Fischer's outrageous chess moves. A study of 101 outrageous moves by the greatest champion of all time. By BRUCE PANDOLFINI. Fireside Chess Library. Published by Simon and Schuster. My favorite games in the book are 5,60,62,92(game of the century) and 99. Give it a read and let me know what you think.

23 ( +1 | -1 ) giboIf you have access, look up the Philadelphia Inquirer on the net. About two months ago, in the Sunday edition, with a special magazine section, they ran a very in depth story on his life. Try to find it in the archives. I think you will enjoy it.
